Cyberstalking law opens debate on what’s annoying

WASHINGTON — It didn’t get much publicity, but an anti-stalking bill passed by Congress recently makes it a federal crime to “annoy” someone over the Internet.

And that’s really beginning to bug some people.

“It’s a stupid law that has slipped in under the radar,” says Clinton Fein, a San Francisco-based artist who runs annoy.com, a website that he says offers “unique and irreverent” commentary on politics and culture. “Who says what’s officially annoying? Is that a business we really want our government to be in?”

The law makes it a crime to anonymously “annoy, abuse, threaten or harass” another person over the Internet.

Rep. Jim McDermott of Washington inserted the provision into legislation that reauthorized the federal Violence Against Women Act. It carries a prison sentence of up to two years and an unspecified fine for those convicted of violations. President Bush signed the bill into law Jan. 5. “

Laws are getting tougher on anonymous cyberstalking. This must be bad news for eccentric left wingers who hate the free speech rights of Steve Sailer. Ask yourself this: Is it worth two years in jail? You are mad at the things Steve Sailer writes, but is it really worth a prison sentence? You want to post his address online, pictures of his wife online, but soon all of this might get you behind bars. Anger is never a solution to someones free speech. Get over your rage and your obsessive hate. Go outside and get some fresh air.   

 

On Steve Sailer’s fundraising

Bill Lee mocked Steve Sailer’s Christmas fundraising. He thinks Steve Sailer is desperate for money, that if he tries to get a job that his blog will somehow stop that from happening. If Steve Sailer really is in money trouble, I do know of one source of income– Bill Lee. Bill has made so many illegal comments about Steve Sailer and his wife and his blog that Steve Sailer could easily take Bill to small claims court and win a cool 5,000. Plus, he would know what Bill Lee looks like, where he lives, and where he works. That alone would make filing a lawsuit worth it, even if somehow Steve Sailer fails to win the case.

Be careful, Bill. It is a small world, and you can’t hide behind your monitor forever, you eccentric, cyberstalking creep.  

The digital footprints of Bill Lee

Bill Lee loves to remind us of digital footprints- he thinks no one will hire Steve Sailer because of his blog–a blog that many consider to be classy and thoughtful, one of the best on the web. Bill Lee is forgetting about all of those hateful anti white remarks he, Bill Lee, has made over the years. Remember that December 2007 post about how he is glad that two white kids are dead at the hands of their father? he said the two kids will not spread hate through the world. Bill Lee might actually have a job. If you know where Bill Lee works, show his blog, Steve Sailer Sucks, to his boss. Show him the hateful anti white December entries first. Let his boss know what an obsessive, cyberstalking weirdo Bill Lee is. See how long Bill keeps his job. 

If you know who Bill Lee is, let me know. I want his address, his phone number, and so forth. Or, just make your own blog similar to this one and publish Bill Lee’s home address. I am sure many people would love to get in contact with Bill Lee’s boss to let him know that he is employing a racist.
